Display the beat store with shortcodes

Learn how to display your Banaslap Studio beat store on any WordPress page using the main store shortcode.

Display the beat store with shortcodes

Banaslap Studio lets you display your beat store on any WordPress page using a shortcode.

This gives you full control over where your catalog appears on your website.

Main store shortcode

To display the Banaslap Studio beat store, use this shortcode:

[banaslap-studio]

Place this shortcode inside the content area of the WordPress page where you want the beat store to appear.

When to use the shortcode

Use the shortcode if you want to manually choose where your beat store appears.

For example, you can create a page called:

  • Beats;
  • Beat Store;
  • Store;
  • Catalog;
  • Shop Beats;
  • Instrumentals.

Then paste the shortcode into that page.

Step 1: Create a WordPress page

In your WordPress dashboard:

  1. Go to Pages.
  2. Click Add New.
  3. Add a page title.
  4. Paste the shortcode into the page content.

Example:

[banaslap-studio]

Then publish the page.

Step 2: Open the page on the frontend

After publishing the page, open it on your website.

The Banaslap Studio beat store should appear where the shortcode was placed.

If you have published beats, they should appear in the catalog.

If no beats appear, make sure at least one beat is published and visible.

Step 3: Add the page to your menu

To make the store easy to find, add the page to your WordPress navigation menu.

Depending on your theme, this can be done from:

  • Appearance → Menus;
  • Appearance → Editor;
  • your theme’s header or navigation settings.

Add the page containing `[banaslap-studio]` to your main navigation.

Automatic page generation

If you do not want to create the pages manually, Banaslap Studio can generate recommended pages for you.

In your WordPress dashboard, open:

Banaslap OS → Settings

Then use the page generation tool.

After the pages are generated, review them and adjust titles, URLs, menus, and layout if needed.

Manual pages vs generated pages

Manual pages are useful if you want full control over your site structure.

Generated pages are useful if you want a faster setup.

Both methods can work.

The important point is that the page where you want to display the beat store must contain:

[banaslap-studio]

Recommended page setup

A simple store setup can include:

  • one public beat store page;
  • one customer account page;
  • one checkout or cart flow if used by your setup;
  • one support or contact page.

The exact structure depends on your WordPress theme and your Banaslap Studio configuration.

Testing the store page

After adding the shortcode, test the page.

Check that:

  • the beat catalog loads;
  • the audio player appears;
  • published beats are visible;
  • artwork displays correctly;
  • audio previews play;
  • license options open;
  • cart or checkout works;
  • the page is usable on mobile.

Troubleshooting

If the store does not appear, check that:

  • the shortcode is written exactly as `[banaslap-studio]`;
  • the page is published;
  • Banaslap Studio is installed and activated;
  • your license is active;
  • your WordPress theme supports shortcodes in page content;
  • your cache has been cleared.

If the page appears but no beats are visible, check that:

  • at least one beat is published;
  • the beat is not private;
  • the beat is not restricted to members only;
  • the beat has the correct visibility settings.

If the layout looks broken, check your WordPress theme, page builder, cache plugin, and custom CSS.
