Connect Stripe

Connect Stripe to accept beat license payments and membership subscriptions through Banaslap Studio.

Connect Stripe

Banaslap Studio uses Stripe to process payments for beat license sales and membership subscriptions.

Stripe allows your customers to pay securely while Banaslap Studio manages orders, access, downloads, and customer dashboard data on your WordPress site.

Before you start

Before connecting Stripe, make sure you have:

  • an active Banaslap Studio license;
  • administrator access to your WordPress site;
  • a Stripe account;
  • your business details ready inside Stripe;
  • completed any required Stripe verification steps.

Step 1: Open payment settings

In your WordPress dashboard, open Banaslap Studio and go to the payment or Stripe settings area.

From there, start the Stripe connection process.

Step 2: Connect your Stripe account

Follow the Stripe connection flow.

Stripe may ask you to log in, confirm your business information, or complete account verification.

Once the connection is complete, you should be redirected back to your WordPress site or Banaslap Studio settings.

Step 3: Check connection status

After returning to your site, verify that Banaslap Studio shows Stripe as connected.

The status should indicate that your store is ready to process payments.

If the connection is incomplete, Stripe may require additional information before payments can go live.

What Stripe handles

Stripe handles:

  • secure payment processing;
  • card security;
  • bank payouts;
  • fraud checks;
  • payment method management;
  • Stripe processing fees.

Stripe processing fees are charged separately by Stripe.

What Banaslap handles

Banaslap Studio handles the beat store experience on your WordPress site, including:

  • license selection;
  • checkout flow;
  • orders;
  • customer access;
  • secure downloads;
  • membership access;
  • license document generation;
  • customer dashboard data.

Depending on your Banaslap plan, Banaslap may also apply a platform commission or service fee.

Starter fees

Starter includes the full Banaslap Studio store experience with:

  • 10% Banaslap commission on beat sales;
  • 10% Banaslap commission on membership sales;
  • Stripe processing fees charged separately.

Pro fees

Pro includes:

  • 0% Banaslap commission on beat sales;
  • 0% Banaslap commission on membership sales;
  • 1% service fee per successful transaction;
  • Stripe processing fees charged separately.

Do not describe Pro as “0% fees.” The correct wording is: 0% Banaslap commission, with a 1% service fee per successful transaction, excluding Stripe fees.

Test before selling

Before promoting your store, create a test beat and run through the full checkout flow.

Check that:

  • the license selection modal opens;
  • the selected license is added to checkout;
  • Stripe checkout opens correctly;
  • payment is processed;
  • the order appears correctly;
  • customer access is created;
  • downloadable files are available;
  • the license document is generated when enabled.

Troubleshooting

If Stripe does not connect, check that:

  • your Stripe account is active;
  • your browser did not block the redirect;
  • your WordPress site uses HTTPS;
  • your Banaslap license is active;
  • your Stripe account does not require additional verification.

If payments fail, review your Stripe dashboard and Banaslap Studio logs before contacting support.
