Banaslap Secure overview

Understand what Banaslap Secure is, how it helps protect your store, and why secure access matters for beatmakers.

Banaslap Secure overview

Banaslap Secure is the security-focused layer of the Banaslap ecosystem.

It is designed to help protect beat stores, licenses, downloads, customer access, and commercial activity across Banaslap Studio.

Why security matters

A beat store handles valuable digital assets.

Your store may include:

  • MP3 files;
  • WAV files;
  • stems;
  • exclusive licenses;
  • customer accounts;
  • membership access;
  • private drops;
  • payment-related order data;
  • license documents.

Without proper access control, customers may receive the wrong files, private content may become accessible, or downloads may be shared outside the intended purchase flow.

What Banaslap Secure protects

Banaslap Secure is designed around the idea that customers should only access what they are allowed to access.

This can include:

  • protected file delivery;
  • license verification;
  • customer access checks;
  • membership access validation;
  • private content protection;
  • order-based downloads;
  • fraud-aware store behavior;
  • secure communication between Banaslap Studio and the Banaslap API.

Secure downloads

Secure downloads help make sure that only eligible customers can access purchased files.

For example:

  • an MP3 license should only deliver MP3 files;
  • a WAV license can deliver higher-quality files;
  • a stems license can deliver trackouts;
  • a membership can unlock specific member downloads;
  • a Private Drop can stay hidden from public visitors.

This protects your catalog and keeps customer access clean.

License verification

Licenses are an important part of a professional beat store.

Banaslap Studio can generate license documents automatically after purchase.

Banaslap Secure helps support the logic behind license access, customer permissions, and valid purchase records.

This makes your store feel more professional and helps reduce confusion around rights and file delivery.

Membership protection

If you sell memberships, access should depend on subscription status.

If a customer has an active membership, they can access the content included in that plan.

If the subscription becomes inactive, cancelled, or past due, member access may be paused until the account becomes active again.

This helps protect recurring revenue and private content.

Private Drops and VIP access

Private Drops and VIP Early Access depend on controlled visibility.

Banaslap Secure helps support access rules so that:

  • public visitors cannot access private drops;
  • only eligible members can see member-only content;
  • VIP customers can access early releases;
  • private campaigns remain restricted.

This is important if you use exclusivity as part of your beat business.

Stripe and payment security

Stripe handles secure payment processing.

Banaslap Studio uses payment and order status to decide what should happen after checkout.

For example:

  • completed payment can unlock files;
  • failed payment should not unlock access;
  • active subscription can unlock membership content;
  • cancelled subscription can restrict member access.

Stripe processing fees are charged separately by Stripe.

Starter and Pro

Banaslap Secure concepts apply to both Starter and Pro.

Starter includes the full Banaslap Studio store experience with basic analytics and a 10% Banaslap commission on beat and membership sales.

Pro includes the full Banaslap Studio store experience with advanced analytics, 0% Banaslap commission on beat and membership sales, and a 1% service fee per successful transaction, excluding Stripe processing fees.

Best practices

To keep your store secure:

  • use HTTPS on your WordPress website;
  • keep WordPress, themes, and plugins updated;
  • keep your Banaslap Studio license active;
  • do not share private license keys;
  • do not expose final files as public preview files;
  • attach files carefully to the correct license;
  • test customer access after making changes;
  • review memberships and private drops before launch.

Troubleshooting

If a customer accesses content they should not see, check:

  • beat visibility;
  • license access rules;
  • membership status;
  • Private Drop settings;
  • customer account status.

If a customer cannot access content they purchased, check:

  • order status;
  • license configuration;
  • file attachments;
  • customer dashboard access;
  • subscription status if it is a membership.

If you are unsure, review the order and access rules before changing the customer account manually.
